How we work
Esteem has implemented Environmental Management Systems to measure, control and reduce environmental impacts. For Esteem, sustainability goes much beyond economic, legal or regulatory purposes. It is how we create enduring value for our customers, stakeholders and society at large, and how we take part in resolving lasting challenges through awareness and engagement programmes.
To ensure compliance with all legal requirements, Esteem has instituted a compliance management system. This helps in evaluating potential environmental impacts prior to the implementation of new projects. Environment impact assessment and risk analysis are performed for all new and major expansion projects, and necessary measures are incorporated to mitigate adverse environmental impacts at the planning stage of every project.
We continuously optimize efficiency across the environmental, social and governance framework, and we encourage involvement from all stakeholders so that sustainable framework policies are well communicated, implemented, monitored and reviewed on a regular basis.
