Emulsifiers for Paint & Coating

Emulsifiers for paint & coating are specialty surfactants used in paint & coating manufacturing to stabilize emulsions, improve dispersion, and enhance product performance. They include nonionic, anionic, and APEO-free emulsifiers for emulsion polymerization, paints and coatings, and floor polish and wax emulsions.

Octyl phenol ethoxylate and nonyl phenol ethoxylate grades are used as emulsion stabilizers in emulsion polymerization. They provide high-HLB emulsification and dispersion, good solubility in the presence of electrolytes and caustic, and effective performance at high temperatures. APEO-free fatty alcohol ethoxylates, EO/PO block copolymers, and anionic sulphates support vinyl acetate, acrylate, and styrene polymer systems.
