Find answers to common questions about powder syntans

Powder syntans are synthetic tanning agents in powder form used for retanning, pre-tanning, and neutralizing operations in leather processing. They include phenolic syntans, acrylic syntans, resin syntans, and neutralizing syntans that improve leather quality and processing efficiency.
We offer various powder syntans including VENTAN RCS (re-chroming syntan), VENTAN DPS (dye leveling syntan), VENTAN PTS (phenolic pre-tanning agent), VENTAN RPS (phenolic replacement syntan), VENTAN WRS (white leather syntan), VENTAN AMS (amphoteric syntan), VENTAN MRS (melamine resin syntan), and VENTAN PNS (phenolic neutralizing syntan).
Powder syntans offer easy storage and handling, good solubility in water, excellent filling properties, improved leather fullness and softness, enhanced grain tightness, good light fastness, compatibility with other tanning agents, and cost-effective processing.
Powder syntans are used for retanning chrome leathers (applied after neutralization), pre-tanning operations (to accelerate vegetable tanning), re-chroming operations (to maintain chrome character), neutralizing operations (to adjust pH safely), and as replacement agents for vegetable tannins in various leather types.
